NEW BETHEL TOURS! 2020 UNITED STATES BRANCH TOUR ITINERARY
May 6-12, 2020, October 14-20, 2020
WEDNESDAY: Late afternoon arrival into the New York City area. Collect your bags and we’ll be off to our hotel. Relax & settle in…. We have a big week ahead!
THURSDAY: The highlight of this tour- our visit to the World Headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses at Warwick! Our hired bus will depart at 12:00 p.m. so plan for a late breakfast or early lunch at the hotel! Following our time at Warwick, we will stop at a nearby restaurant for dinner before returning to our hotel about 7:00 p.m.
FRIDAY: This is a free day to enjoy the sights & sounds of New York City! After breakfast, Your tour escorts, Jim & Stephanie Arellanes, will be in the dining room by 8:30 a.m. if you need help or questions answered. We will take a public bus into Manhattan about 9:00 a.m. It’s easy! If you want, follow us as we walk to the bus stop! (It’s a 5-10 minute walk)
SATURDAY: Our hired bus will pick us up at 9 a.m. and take us to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the awesome Bible tour “The Woman & Her Offspring”. The tour will wend about 2:00 p.m. The remainder of the day is free. Whenever you’re ready, make your way back to the hotel on your own.
SUNDAY: Today is your last opportunity for shopping & sightseeing in Manhattan. OR, you can relax at our hotel in preparation for our full day tomorrow.
OR If you are interested… after breakfast you can follow along with Jim and Stephanie to Brooklyn Heights (via public bus and subway). We’ll guide you on a walking tour to see where much theocratic history took place. The former office complex at 25-30 Columbia Heights and historical addresses of 124 and 117 Colombia Heights, as well as the former Towers & Bossert residences will be on our route. Beautiful views of the New York skyline will also be yours! (You must be able to walk a mile or more) Following this walking tour, you are free to explore more of Brooklyn Heights on your own OR you can take the subway (or Uber?) back to Manhattan. There is LOTS you can see & do!!
MONDAY: Our hired bus will pick us up and we will leave the hotel by 8:00 a.m. We’ll head north for our tour of the U.S. Branch office and printery in Wallkill, New York. Following this tour, your box lunch will be waiting for you outside at the picnic tables (OR, maybe you already have mad personal arrangements to have lunch with Wallkill Bethelites?) We will leave Wallkill by 1:00p.m. Next stop: Patterson Educational Center! We’ll return to the hotel about 5:30 p.m.
TUESDAY: Enjoy breakfast at our hotel before checking out by 11:00 a.m. & returning to the airport for flights home. We hope you’ve had an encouraging & enjoyable visit to New York City and the U.S. Branch and World Headquarters!
